MIRACLE LEAGUE OF WESTFIELD

What is a Miracle League?

The Miracle League of Westfield is a non-profit organization in Westfield, Indiana, dedicated to providing a safe, successful and enjoyable baseball experience for ages 0-99 with disabilities or special health care needs. We will offer adaptive baseball, within an accessible stadium at Roundtripper Academy, removing the barriers that would normally keep individuals off the baseball field.

100% volunteer led committee helps operate The Miracle League of Westfield. Each member serves to carry out the League's mission and vision:

  • Our mission: To provide opportunities for all children and young adults to play baseball regardless of their ability.

  • Our vision: Providing opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball on an adapted field that meets the unique needs of Miracle League players, their families and friends.

JENNA HOFFMAN

When Jenna's daughter was born with a disability, she knew someday she would have to find a way that she, too, could play the game her family, generation after generation played and loved so much. The Miracle League of Westfield will take her daughter out of the stands as a fan, and into the action playing the game she loves so much to watch. In Londyn's words, "Bombas!"

ADAM HOFFMAN

There is something about playing this special game that brings out the happiness in all of us, but for children facing mental and physical challenges, that opportunity can often be a difficult first step.  Often these children are left standing on the sidelines watching and cheering on big brother or sister, it is the closest they can come to the game. The Miracle League gives these children the opportunity to get out and play for the love of the game! It’s all about having fun!

For my son Graham to be able to play the game he loves and has grown up watching his brother and sister play means the world to my wife and I. We are very excited to be a part of the Miracle League that shows no limits for people with disabilities. It is indescribable to help give everyone who participates the opportunity to play and be a part of a team and the community. I cannot wait to see the pure joy on not only my son’s face but every other player.
